For over 30 years, Sébastien Croteau has been exploring the limits of the human voice. Beginning as a metal vocalist with Necrotic Mutation (since 1991) and later studying Tibetan, Mongolian, and Inuit throat singing (since 1996), he developed a rare expertise in extreme vocals, vocal effects, and creature vocalizations.

Since 2005, Sébastien has worked as a creature voice actor in the entertainment industry. He has performed more than 400 monsters, demons, and creatures across 40+ films and video games, including Fortnite, Helldivers 2, Genshin Impact, Until Dawn, Star Wars Outlaws, Hellblade 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Dead by Daylight, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and many more.

In 2018, he founded The Monster Factory, a company dedicated to extreme sounds, vocal stunt work, and monster/creature performances. As CEO, casting director, and voice director, he has overseen 20+ productions since 2017, guiding actors through the unique challenges of creature vocalizations. His hands-on approach often includes demonstrating techniques himself, ensuring sustainable, powerful, and authentic performances.

Recognized internationally for his work in creature voice design, Sébastien has been invited to share his expertise at major video game conferences and industry events. Over the last four years, he has delivered 20+ talks across 9 countries, earning praise for his engaging and practical presentations.

His passion for monster and creature sounds, combined with decades of experience as both a voice talent and gamer, has made him a valued collaborator for studios, developers, and audio professionals worldwide.
