In July, SAG-AFTRA announced a strike on the TV/Theatrical Contract, which means Union actors are refusing work in TV and Movies in solidarity with The WGA. Voice actors, union and non-union alike, are affected by this strike, so the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA) put together the below guide to help the community know what types of Voiceover fall under the strike restrictions, as well as what types of Voiceover are okay to work on. By following this guide, VAs can support the SAG-AFTRA strike at this critical time of protecting our future. Stay informed, we're all in this together!
For more information you can visit the NAVA website, where they are regularly updating a dedicated webpage with the most up-to-date information, links, and graphics to support our voiceover community.
