Confidence and taking chances are needed at auditions and jobs. Explore how being in the moment helps you stay fresh and elevates your performance. You’ll improvise sections of the script, increase listening and response times, and trust your instincts.

Free your pursuit for perfection while you play, laugh, and bond with a group of your fellow students. We’ll amuse ourselves with ensemble games, space object play, scene work, and failing joyfully. All levels welcome. Students who are new to Voice One or have never attended any of our classes are also welcome!

Participate in a 3-hour workshop designed to provide an overview of the voice over industry. We'll cover the evolution of voice over, the different types of VO, current and future trends, financial possibilities, and what it takes to build a career. Plus, everyone in class gets the opportunity to read copy on mic.

Put a character into action by experiencing the complete audition to performance process. You'll develop dimensionality, functionality, and dynamic physicality as you inhabit a fun and out-of-this-world character throughout this 12-hour class. Set your universal translators to Marcopian and get ready for some action!

Commercial voice over is the workhorse of the industry. The technique and skill required makes it much more than "sell! sell! sell!". Come expand your confidence with essential reading and acting techniques. You’ll perform in single & dialogue spots, bring attitude to the words, stay natural, and have fun! This preliminary class prepares you for more in-depth study in the commercial track.
10am-1pm Pacific / $120
Elevate your skills from passively reading aloud to actively narrating vivid projects! Through drills, games, and critical listening exercises, this class will guide you to find a connection with the text, paraphrase the story, understand the writer's intention, and paint a portrait with your words.

You are a fantastic video game actor! Yusss! But if you can’t take direction, your career won’t survive.
